Mountain biking is a fast-paced sport and it's easy to forget the value of slowing down to stretch after a long ride. Yoga can not only help prevent tightness, soreness and injury, but can also help you improve balance on your bike and strengthen muscle groups that otherwise get "left behind" in a cycling regimen.
The Nature Inspired Vinyasa Flow styled class will be tailored towards the primary muscles used during mountain biking. We will focus on strengthening the core, opening the hips, hamstrings and chest all while taking in the panoramic view on top of a mountain. What could be better?

LEVEL 4: ADDICTED (see full chart)
You have been mountain biking for at least two years. You are capable of controlling bike speed and direction on moderately steep and technical single track trails.
JUMPINGPOUND RIDGE IN KANANASKIS
You can scale to great heights on this trail, spiritually and physically. This is a premier ride providing a phenomenal panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, as well as a heart stopping ridge run that becomes some of the best downhill single track to be found anywhere.

Kelly is an easy going mountain biker with a Kinesiology degree and a wide depth of knowledge who can modify each stretch to meet your ability level. She is a Nationally Certified Yoga Instructor who specializes in working with athletes of all ages.
