Testimonials

The food that BaSE provides its riders with has high nutritional value. We strive to feed our athletes with what's best to perform and feel good. We also understand that everybody has different needs and limitations when it comes to choice they make when choosing what to eat. That's why we have a special food section on our medical questionnaire to assure that nobody will be fed harmful ingredients. First of all, water is always available to refill bottles and hydration packs. Each participant has access to electrolyte drinks to replenish low level of sodium, potassium and magnesium, along with carbohydrates. Fruits are also always handy and strongly recommended.

A typical lunch includes:

  • Fresh fruits & veggies
  • Wholegrain/wheat bread sandwiches or wrap (gluten free available)
  • Chicken, Turkey, Ham, Roast beef
  • Assorted juices
