Choosing the right camp to send your child or teenager to can prove to be a real challenge. Not only do you want the price, but you also want the actual activities and the timing to be right, and of course you also want him / her to be excited about it.
Here are some of the reasons why we think BaSE is a good choice for your family;
- BaSE guarantees a maximum ratio of 1 coach per 6 students. This ensures that everyone gets the attention they need to develop their skills. For many of our camps we even have a ratio of 2:7, which is even better!
- All BaSE staff is certified in First Aid and CPR and are carefully selected based on their experience, qualifications, enthusiasm, and overall ability to provide a positive and supportive environment for our riders. All BaSE employees are over 18 years old and have a clean driving abstract.
- We take your child outside of the city to new terrain and new challenges that allows them to have new and exciting adventures. BaSE offers your child an experience that we are sure you will hear about over and over again. Hopefully this will even entice you to join us for an Adult Program.

Alberta Camping Association
BaSE undergoes a formal accreditation visit once every three years. A team of inspectors visits our camp to ensure we continue to meet all mandatory standards. The visitors go through a detailed checklist of all applicable standards with a BaSE representative. They also see these standards in practice through a tour of the camp during a typical day of activity.
